The almond paste is produced by our Sicilian partner cooperative Valdibella from shelled almonds of the local "Tuono" variety. It is suitable for baking, desserts and sauces.

Taste and use
That's what makes this Sicilian almond butter so special:
- Taste: This light almond butter is characterized by its fine almond aroma.
- Quality features: The "Tuono" almond paste has a very fine consistency and a barely perceptible amaretto note on the finish.
- Use: Almond butter is ideal for baking, desserts and sauces. It can also be used as a plant-based substitute for butter.
Cultivation and ecology
This is how almonds are grown:
- Cultivation method: Organic farming.
- Producers: The almonds are grown by various members of the Valdibella cooperative. Valdibella has the almonds peeled and then processes them into light almond paste in its own factory. The cooperative uses the "Addio Pizzo" label to declare that it does not pay protection money to criminal organizations.

A wonderfully balanced almond cream, so fine, I like to enjoy it on its own and it makes a great gift.
