• Quality features: Only figs of impeccable quality of the local variety "Calabacita" and "Cuello de Damas" are selected for drying and packaged in the small Bioles factory.

Cultivation and ecology

This is how figs are grown:

• Cultivation method: Organic farming. In addition to various types of figs, olives are also grown here.
• Producers: Juan Jesús Collado grows the figs on his organic farm in the province of Cáceres. They are then dried and packaged by the small Bioles factory in Málaga. Bioles works with various small producers who grow their food according to agroecological principles and processes and packs their products. The small company is a member of Tierra y Libertad, our partner cooperative in Andalusia.
