• Quality features: Whole hazelnuts, directly from this year's harvest, vacuum-packed to better protect their aroma.
• Use: For breakfast in Bircher muesli, as a snack, for baking or lightly roasted as a topping, hazelnuts are a healthy source of energy.

Cultivation and ecology

This is how hazelnuts are grown:

• Cultivation method: Organic farming. Miquel Àngel Nogués is experimenting with numerous methods of biodynamic, regenerative and homeopathic agriculture in order to promote soil fertility and make it possible to do without pesticides approved for organic farming.
• Producers: Miquel Àngel Nogués is a pioneer of regenerative and biodynamic agriculture in his region. He grows hazelnuts, olives and walnuts on his 23-hectare organic farm in the province of Tarragona. He is convinced that his farming methods not only improve the soil, but also produce tastier and healthier food. Because he is a friend of our partner cooperative Tierra y Libertad in Andalusia, we are able to offer you his nuts.
